Leading with Integrity and Intention
Next Date to be Announced Soon
Leadership can be a daily challenge of rectifying mistakes, redirecting people, and reviewing status. But the heart of leadership is the reward of moving your organization forward and developing your employees as a result of your own effective guidance.
Values-Based Leadership – A series of SIX half-days
Do you have a desire to significantly enrich your leadership capabilities? Join us to learn how, in six (6) weekly sessions that will explore:
- Unearthing: Defining and articulating the 5 core values you practice most at work
This first session takes an initial inventory of the core values that drive you most frequently, how you would define them, and why they are important to you. You will spend interactive time connecting to those values in your own words and exchanging insights with others.
- Influencing: Using your authenticity and emotional intelligence to build trust and inspire others
We will explore how you can use your core values to influence others (direct reports, peers, customers), especially in interactions that are critical or where you most struggle. We will bring in the dynamic of trust and how it affects consensus and commitment.
- Attuning: Shaping cultures that attract and engage us
When your central values are in alignment with those of the organization, resonance can occur. You will begin to evaluate the culture of your working environment and co-create the “rules of engagement” for how you collectively interact together.
- Developing: Delegating as a tool for professional development while freeing up your time
Consider the employees that you want to develop. Expanding their roles and broadening their capabilities requires that you delegate well. This includes clarifying expectations, letting go of your preconceived control biases, and fostering accountability for performance.
- Being Courageous: Questioning reality in challenging situations
Communication is at the heart of all the above modules. But what happens on those occasions when your actions are not congruent with your values and the message is lost or distorted? We will dedicate time to practice skills that clearly articulate your needs, wants, desired outcomes, and clear agreements for the way forward.
- Evolving: Maintaining Poise through Disruption
We will examine the dynamic nature of change, highlighting its predictable phases, the emotion involved in it, and the resiliency that you can develop within yourself and coach with others.
- Integrating: Becoming the Embodiment of the Values-Based Leader
This session is a recognition and acknowledgement of how far you have come in practicing core values and where you are committed to “lean in” more demonstrably in the future. We will use each other for accountability to go forward.
We have created an interactive course for refining your professional effectiveness by elevating your values into your daily actions.
WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS TRAINING?
This course infuses your core values – who you essentially are – into your leadership practice.
You will include reflection and assessment to identify your leadership strengths and the key components that have made you successful so far. By articulating your principles, you will have the opportunity to intentionally integrate those into specific leadership competencies.
It’s not about the instructors… it’s about you.
We have created a weekly series of SIX half-day sessions, with space in-between to allow for integration and implementation. Each half-day includes hands-on exercises and real-world discussions to apply development skills relevant to you.
With a participative format, the roundtable environment allows for dialog between participants, encouraging collegial input and open idea-generation
